As a food reviewer, it's a delight to introduce you to a culinary experience that has garnered glowing reviews from patrons, consistently highlighting both its delectable offerings and charming ambiance.
Queenstown Village excels in the burger category, boasting heavenly creations like the Wagyu Smashburger that leaves a lasting impression. But the extensive menu goes beyond just burgers. OMG I am still dreaming about their food. Delicious, lovely place to relax and great service. I can't stop dragging about this restaurant.

It is hard to find a quaint and quiet place in the area, but Queenstown Village offers just that. I adore the restaurant's indoor and outdoor flow. You can sit outside near the curb, and people watch on the porch surrounded by a garden or grab a high-top and sit inside near the bar. Wherever you sit, you will have a pleasant view, and good food awaits you. The Queenstown name on the napkins is a nice touch, and so are the utensils. Our server was very kind and answered all our questions. (unfortunately, I did not get his name) We ordered a side of fries for starters. I was surprised they were steak fries and seasoned to perfection, with a hint of spice. They were so good that I could have made a meal out of just the fries. Our table enjoyed the Soup & Sammie- with added bacon that elevated that sandwich to another level, and the fish & chips- which came out as one large piece of fish. The parlor pot pie was massive and definitely big enough to share. My only gripe was that it had a TON of gravy, and that is saying something because I love gravy. I ordered the Cobb salad and was disappointed when it arrived. It was VERY small in comparison to everyone else's food at the table. My meal looked like a side salad compared to the rest, and it was $20.00, which made it almost unbearable to eat. Hence... the four stars instead of five. It was an enjoyable meal and in a great spot, but the "side salad " killed it for me. Dine or Dash? Keep the fries coming, and I will be back. I just won't order a $20.00 side salad.

I love this whimsical restaurant for everything. The stellar service, the quirkiness in the decoration and funny details, the food...and most specially I love that they serve coffee drinks until late! In fact you can really enjoy coffee and desserts outside like if you were at a Parisian bistro (who cares if it is a New Zealand themed restaurant). The boyfriend and I had a great time comparing desserts (for him the lemony one in a cute glass and for me the pavlova). He was not very convinced of his because it was too sugary but I enjoyed mine a lot. Coffee drinks are perfect. The atmosphere on a Saturday night people watching is fantastic and chic.

Just had brunch on 7/18/2024 at Queenstown Village in La Jolla with my sister and a couple friends. It is a 10 out of 10 for food, service and ambiance. First the Food - the Baked Brie appetizer with honey and apples tasted so good. My main dish was the Wagyu Smashburger, which was so delicious! My sister got the Steak Caesar and was amazing. One of my friends got the Shrimp & Grits that was so tasty. The service was friendly, accommodating, and kind. After brunch, one of the servers graciously suggested taking a photo Op in different areas of the restaurant (because it's so gorgeous). The server took multiple great photos of us to create a great memory. What can I say about the ambiance? Although most of the decorative flowers are fake, it still is giving this whimsical beautiful, green floral lively environment. Lastly, the area does get busy around lunch/brunch time. I found FREE parking on the street with no time limit in front of the paid parking garage just down the street from the restaurant. If parking on the street is a hassle, then you may opt to do paid parking in the garage. Be aware that some of the FREE street parking in front of business are 15-30 minute zones. My sister, friends, and myself have added Queenstown to our list of favorite eateries, and agree will return!

Saw this on Ig and was already intrigued because it was a new place. Made reservations and drove from LA to La Jolla just to eat here. When I first walked up to the place I thought it was a flower shop, but it was actually decorated beautifully ! I love all the plants and the very inviting, cozy and chic vibe! They have a table right in front of the windows, it gives you a feel as if you are at home and just enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. The cinnamon latte was great! also ordered the fish and chips. Very tasty and ordered the french toast. I wasn't a fan of the tea sandwiches that my friend ordered. Our server was very pleasant and very attentive. Would highly recommend coming here. I couldn't get enough of the interior design !!

Check out my video: https://youtu.be/3lwbdFL-saU My daughter and I went to Queenstown Cafe and had a lovely time. We just missed the brunch menu and we were a little disappointed because we wanted to have the tea sandwiches and the bread that's baked in a flower pot but we loved what we did get which was the New Zealand onion dip with potato chips, Black bean patty vegetarian sliders with skinny fries, and a very delicious decaf oat milk caramel latte. Our waitress was adorable and very attentive. The vibe was very cool and relaxed. Everything was just so pretty there. I guess it was pricey but at the same time it's downtown La Jolla so what do you expect! We loved it. We probably wouldn't go again just because it's something more of a special occasion to go there, but we highly recommend it for your special occasion!

The restaurant felt very chic and was nicely decorated on both the exterior and interior with lots of flowers. Located in a busier area of La Jolla, there were very limited street parking options. Both the food and drink menu offered a variety of different options! Overall, the food here was mediocre and a bit overpriced. Soup & Sammie: (3/5) the sammie came with cheese, tomato, and avocado. I was personally hoping for more of a grilled cheese-like sandwich with crispy bread and melty cheese, but instead the bread was soggy underneath and there was not enough cheese to balance out the other components. There were a lot of tomatoes and avocado which made it difficult to dip into the soup without everything falling out. The tomato soup itself had a unique texture, especially with the added pine nuts. It had a good balance of tomato and basil flavor. Hanger Steak: (3.5/5) we ordered the hanger steak medium rare and it was perfectly cooked and dissolved in your mouth! The dish overall was a bit bland and under seasoned. We ended up asking for something to go with the steak and potatoes and the waiter ended up bringing a nice chutney out on the side which paired well with the meal and helped give it some more flavor.

Wow, this is a great brunch place. The decor is beautiful, the seating is comfortable, the customer service is great, and the vibe is excellent. We made a reservation and we were seated immediately. Our server was perfect and very professional. I have to say that as soon as we arrived and walked in, the manager, Ty, welcomed us and that was impressive. We were a party of 6 adults and we all fir very comfortably in a booth. We ordered: 2 Palomas, 1 Irish Coffee, 1 Spritzer, 2 Bloody Marys, a Strawberry Lemonade, 1 coffee and an order of NZ Onion Dip with Homemade Chips for the table. For our main brunch courses: 1 NZ Fish & Chips, 2 Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich Specials with French fries and one with Sweet Potato Fries, 1 Breakfast Fried Rice with scrambled eggs, 1 Hogs & Heifers Burger with fries, and 1 Wagyu Smashburger with Blue Cheese topped Sweet Potato Fries. The manager even came to our table to meet us and he is AMAZING! His every and vibe are awesome!! Thank you Ty!!
